NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) specializes in offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs focused on fashion and design education. There are NIFT campuses across multiple cities in India and is known for its curriculum and industry-oriented approach.

The first NIFT campus was inaugurated in Delhi in 1985 and it was declared a statutory institute in 2006. Students have to take up the NIFT entrance exam to get admission into one of the campuses and the seats are allotted based on their performance in the exam.

- “SARTHAK” NIFT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME - This scholarship is offered for students who are from low-income backgrounds but have an exceptional academic record. Students can get up to 100% waiver in tuition fees based on the income of the family. - “UDAAN”- NIFT MEANS – CUM - MERIT SCHEME FOR FOREIGN STUDIES - The purpose of this scholarship is to provide financial assistance to students who have a low-income background and want to pursue their design studies abroad. From tuition fees to travel tickets to abroad, students can get 100% fee waiver on those. Delhi Campus

National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi was established in 1986 in collaboration with FIT, New York. The campus was designed by Dr.B.V Doshi and it is listed amongst the modern iconic architecture of Delhi.

NIFT Delhi Hostel

NIFT Delhi hostel is located inside the campus. There are around 100 rooms with 200 beds, each room with 2 beds. The rooms in the hostel are air conditioned and maintained properly. Each room is provided with a bed, an inbuilt cupboard, a study table, and a chair. There is a common utility area where it has refrigerators, microwaves, heaters, irons, and electric kettles.

Chennai Campus

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai was established in 1995 for design, management, and technology for the International Brand. NIFT Chennai is considered one of the best campuses and is relatively bigger in comparison with other NIFT campuses. NIFT Gandhinagar campus was established in 1995 by the Government of India as a temporary campus which was then allotted a separate land and became operational in 2004. NIFT Gandhinagar hostel is named after two famous rivers - Narmada and Tapti. There are around 100 rooms in this hostel overall and can accommodate over 200 students. National Institute of Fashion Technology, Patna was founded in 2008. NIFT Patna was originally housed in Udyog Bhavan, Gandhi Maidan, until moving to its own permanent campus in Mithapur Farms in 2014.
